Choose a recurring task
Look for work with a clear input, a clear output and someone who knows what good looks like. Drafting an internal summary is easier to evaluate than “transforming operations.”
Set the boundaries
Pick an approved tool. Define which information may be used, who can access it, and who reviews the result. Begin with non-sensitive or synthetic material.
Write a testable question
Can this workflow help us prepare a first draft with less effort while preserving quality? Decide how to compare the pilot with the current process before starting.
Make the experiment small
Choose one owner, one workflow and a limited set of representative examples. Include difficult examples, not just the easiest ones.
Decide what happens next
Review the output quality, correction effort and mistakes. Continue, adjust or stop based on what you learned. Record the decision so the team can reuse the learning.
